1) Before you clean your lashes, wash your hands. Then gather these supplies:
2) Apply makeup remover over the bed of your eyelash to remove the glue. Once it has loosened up, press down on your lid with one finger, and gently lift the lash with your thumb and forefinger. (Use the pads of your finger or tweezers instead of fingernails)
3) Soak a cotton ball in makeup remover. Move the swab along the lash strip in gentle motions. Run from the tip of the lash to the other end, making sure to get the adhesive stip too. Turn the lash over and repeat on the opposite side. Continue until all the makeup and your glue is off.
4) Inspect the lash for lash glue. Take tweezers with one hand, and remove glue from the lash band. With the other hand, hold the eyelashes with the pads of your fingers.
*Make sure to only pull with the tweezers. Pulling at the lashes could damage the hairs.*
5) Make sure you get any remaining glue off the lash strip. Dip a fresh cotton ball in alcohol and wipe down the strip of the lash. In addition to removing glue, this disinfects the strip so you can safely use the eyelashes again.
6) Allow the lashes time to dry. Once they are dry, place lashes back in the box they originally came in, to store away.
